With fun techniques to learn, how-to tips on equipment, methods and baking suggestions, you will create a box full of delightful macarons to take home.

Join Shape and Bake if you enjoy learning by doing. We will prepare various doughs in advance so they are ready to be used as soon as you arrive, meaning you can focus on the fun stuff – shaping, rolling, folding and moulding these doughs into delicious baked goods.

Come and discover the art of sandwich making, Danish style. In this class you will learn to create the best sandwiches in the world – Danish Smørrebrød (open faced sandwich). Discover how to make traditional Danish rye bread, and find out just how important this dark, delicious bread is for the Danes, and as the foundation for all good smørrebrød.

While your bread bakes you will create a variety of seasonal and traditional toppings. With toppings prepared and bread sliced it’s time to assemble your smørrebrød – decorated and beautifully stacked so that your sandwiches are satisfying to all of the senses – especially the eye – and not least the taste buds.

Your class concludes with a hygge communal dining table, where we will come together to dine and create our own memories of how we just created the best sandwich in the world.

With an inspiring array of classic ingredients, seasonal foods and foraged delicacies, you will enjoy an evening of learning and exploring the Danish and Nordic kitchen.

In this class you will create a three course meal inspired by traditional Danish classics, but fused with the New Nordic cuisine. This class is fully hands-on and you will be learning how to bring a touch of the Nordic kitchen magic into your own, with techniques and tips for cooking and presenting beautiful dishes.

After creating and plating your dishes we will all have a sit-down dinner in the dining room and enjoy a feast of Nordic flavours with a glass of wine.
